Venue Planning & Policies

Who handles catering and beverages at Armature Works weddings?
All food must be arranged through one of Armature Works' exclusive catering partners. All beverages — alcoholic and non-alcoholic — are provided or arranged exclusively by Armature Works. Outside beverages of any kind may not be brought onto the property.

Is there a food and beverage minimum for weddings at Armature Works?
It depends on the venue. The Gathering and Rooftop 220 have a food and beverage minimum applied to the wedding contract based on your selected date, with both your wedding package pricing and catering invoice counting toward reaching that minimum. The Theatre has no food and beverage minimum, making it one of the most flexible and accessible wedding venues in the Armature Works collection.

What additional fees apply to weddings at Armature Works?
A 23% taxable service charge is applied to all invoiced items. This charge covers administrative fees, service labor, operating costs, and pre-planning expenses. This is not a gratuity, tipping is entirely optional and at your discretion. Florida state sales tax of 7.5% also applies to all invoiced items.

What is the payment schedule for booking a wedding at Armature Works?
To secure your wedding date, a signed contract and deposit are required. A separate catering deposit is due once your caterer is selected. At 120 days out, 50% of the remaining contract balance is due. Your final guest count and remaining balance are due 14 days before your wedding date.

Is parking available at Armature Works for weddings?
Yes. Self-parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the surrounding lots. Valet parking may also be available through Safeway Enterprises, the exclusive valet provider for The Gathering, and can be added to your wedding contract at your expense.

Is a wedding planner required at Armature Works?
Yes. A professional wedding planner or day-of coordinator is required for every wedding at Armature Works. This person must be a dedicated professional, not a guest, available on-site throughout the day to manage vendor load-in and load-out, facilitate the rehearsal and ceremony, and oversee the setup and cleanup of all client-provided items.
